Question: Many students struggle with advanced mathematics and argue that they will never use algebra or calculus in real life. Should mathematics be optional in senior high school, allowing students to focus on subjects more relevant to their career paths? Or is math an essential skill that everyone should learn, no matter their future profession?

What’s your take? Should students have the choice to drop math, or is it too important to skip? Debate below!
